"Boy Kills World" is a fun movie- I saw it last weekend. "Late night with the devil" had potential but it got less scary towards the end.

So the Toymaker was an nearly omnipotent being (smiling guy in the hat it cut to for a second) who interacts with the universe through games. Games he almost always wins cause he rigs it so wining will kill you anyway. The First Doctor (The GOAT Doctor) was pulled into his game and played chess for possession of the Tardis, while companions of the era Ben and Polly had to play a life sized board game, with life or death consequences. Important to note the Toymaker doesn't touch the pieces he just tells them to move. While getting to the point he's going to win the Doctor realizes if he wins the pocket universe they are in will vanish with everything in it including them. He tricks the Toymaker saying he has to let Ben and Polly go cause they won their game and he will set the Tardis to take them away before he makes his last move. Once inside he imitates the Toymaker's voice and makes the last move remotely, de-materializing the Tardis as the pocket universe collapses and ejects the Toymaker out of the Universe for a time. Many of the things he does here are things done with less budget in 1965. Flawed copies of people, controlling people with puppet strings, and that goddamn 'please punch me' grin. And of coarse toys, so many toys.

I lost count on how many times your head exploded on this one. such a good show! I've been obsessing over it since I saw it, now almost 3 weeks ago! the urge to drop everything else and dive head first into Fallout games... lord help me...

I have to respectfully take issue with Jay comparing The Last of Us with Fallout. The Last of Us was AWESOME - but in the end just a copy of the game itself. It wasn't new "content" per se. Fallout is a wholly original work based on a video game universe. Not apples/apples. Edit: WHO SAYS 4 ISN'T GREAT? That's absolute TRASH spewing from people that like to review bomb things because of whatever psycho reason they imagine. Fallout 4 is the literal greatest gaming experience I've ever had. I'd undergo experimental memory removal to play it from start again.

The Problem with the NCR is, it expanded to quickly, to far, it's apparent in Fallout: New Vegas, and it's pretty much referenced here with "Fall of Shady Sands" it was the start of the collapse for the NCR, with the destruction of Shady Sands in 2281/82 (according to Todd Howard it happend shortly after NV) pretty much being the final nail into the coffin. It wasn't perfect, neither is the BOS of course and lets not talk about the Enclave.

It's not cryptic at all , you guys just decided that Maximus was this cunning guy that would cut his only friend foot and refuse to depart from that idea even after the friend admits to doing it themselves and explained why.

Fallout, The Last of Us ☝🏿And might I add The Twisted Metal series (☝🏿which is not terrible bty). Is some of the best video game to TV show adaptations out. The rest of Hollywood, needs to pay attention.

Look, Fallout 4 is fine. Arguably, it doesn't live up to New Vegas (Though personally, I'd disagree), but it's a fine game, and a good Fallout entry.

Phenomenal series with a phenomenal ending. I initially didn't like Maximus too much. I felt like he was selfish and shallow but he quickly became so much more. The Ghoul and Lucy were expertly written and portrayed and I am so excited to see the team up leading into season 2. Also, NEW FUCKING VEGAS!? Yes please and thank you, like Jay said. I even like the side characters too and hope they make a return like Thaddeus, the squire turned ghoul, the wacked out doctor, the shop owner from Filly, all of them! I feel like, personally, this show surpassed The Last of Us in terms of best video game adaptation! I had some complaints about TLOU where they strayed from the source material or lacked certain aspects in the show, but this series was almost flawless for me. Cant wait for season 2!

Remember, chronologalically. This show is further along the timeline than all of the games, so it’s really a perfect setup for Fallout 5. I only hope they’ve been working on that for a while now.

I find it funny that given the far more capable, and deadly, Robobrain exists, that Bud would limit himself to a...Roombabrain.

I personally think that Brotherhood theory is dumb. For one thing, Caesar's Legion shunned all forms technology, even medical stuff like stimpaks. I doubt they would join a group so despised by Caesar. Secondly, the Brotherhood would never accept a bunch of nomadic tribals, who have ZERO technological skills, into their ranks, even if they were really desperate for more gun fodder. Unlike their East Coast brethren, the West Coast Brotherhood doesn't recruit outsiders, unless they're children like Maximus. The whole theory makes little sense when you really break it down. On a side note, it was satisfying for me to finally see the Brotherhood exact their revenge on the NCR.

So yeah. In the last few weeks I've seen The Last of Us and then Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in 4Dx, then I watched Reacher series 1 and 2 for the first time, Shogün and then Fallout. I don't think I've ever watch five different things in a row that I enjoyed so much. Fallout was literally mind blowing. It even made my partner into an instant fan. She was looking forward to each episode. It felt like a great time to be alive. I can't wait season 2. Great reaction chaps.

I am loving the post-Uwe Boll era of video game adaptations.

I love love LOVE that both Maximus and Lucy got EXACTLY what they wanted in the end - Maximus became a Knight of the Brotherhood, Lucy found her parents - and yet, it was a victory for neither of them. They both hated every second of it, and they both need to reevaluate who they are and who they want to be in this world. Everything Lucy grew up believing was a lie - right down to who her father was as a person ('if my dad found out I destroyed an entire community just to find hime, it would break his heart' - yeah, about that...). And Maximus idolized the Brotherhood all his life and now knows it is just as corrupt and rotten as everything else up here. Meanwhile Cooper has the first real shot at finding out what happend to HIS family for the first time in perhaps 200 years. THIS is how you do a season finale!

Will you do a Let's play or stream Fallout 4?

Fallout 4 is a good game. New Vegas fanboys are horrible people, sure the RPG element in new vegas was really good but besides that it has nothing over Fallout 4. The gameplay, fighting etc are all miles above New Vegas. If a Fallout "fan" ever tells you to ONLY play New Vegas you need to ignore them.

When i first heard the theory of Caeser's Legion eventually melting into the BOS I thought it was hogwash but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I also have a theory that Vault-Tec was not the one to actually nuke Shady Sands, I think that someone either Hank and Betty or maybe Bud's brain convinced the BOS too nuke Shady Sands because they said that the NCR had some type of end of world technology. When Maximus is "rescued" by the BoS it was actually them going in to mop up what was left of anyone still alive in Shady Sands. It will lead too Max finding this out and being at odds with the BoS, either leaving or trying to change it from within.

Now we need a good Mass Effect show and Horizon Zero dawn
